Woody-fruited Evening Primrose. The large yellow blooms last a day, or two at the most, then turn red as they dry out. I had wanted another crack at this flower for several years, but with the drought, there hasn't been much to photograph. I think that the heavy rains we had in May this year contributed to a bumper crop of these for this year.
