Taken from the same spot, just zoomed in. This is probably my favorite image of the trip. One educational note, all the dead trees in the lower portion are Engelman Spruce, killed by an infestation of Spruce Beetles. Apparently, they come out about every 300 years. As I recall, the current infestation started in the 1980's and is about completed as the Spruce are starting to come back.
