These first few winter scenes were actually taken in the fall, but they fit the winter gallery better.
For the 2nd year now, I was trying to get some "snow trail" images, and for the 2nd year I didn't get what I wanted. Will try again next year. Hopefully we will get some significant snow next year.

These first two images were taken along the Mt Rose Highway, just above the Mt Rose ski area. As with last year, I got light, blowing snow, instead of wet heavy flakes with no wind.
