I was on my way home and came around a corner and observed this Bald Eagle sitting on a tree. I got lucky as just past it, there was a pullout, so I could turn around and get reasonably close and off the road.
Carl and I had thought that all these Eagles were Golden Eagles, but this image got me to wondering because of the mottled white on top of its head. I asked two photo club friends, Carl and Carol their opinions. They did quite a bit of research and concluded that all these images are of juvenile Bald Eagles. Thanks to Carl and Carol for their help in the ID.
