Carl and I went out to Oxbow Park hoping to see some Mink on the ice. Didn't see any mink, but got this shot of a Ruby-crowned Kinglet. My first of this species. It doesn't show in this image, but in a few shots I could see some red reathers on the top of its head. According to the books, when it gets excited, the red pops up into a crown that is very visible. Unfortunately, I didn't see that display.
