I generally don't say much about how my images do in competition, but I'll make an exception for this one. This was first entered in a PSA interclub competition. The participating clubs come from all over the country and a few are overseas. Out of more than 200 images, this was one of only two that got 14 points and one of 5 Awards of Merit. PSA posts the Award of Merit images on its website, so this one can be found there. This eventually won PSA's Image of the Year. I'm very proud of that!

I also entered it in a monthly photo club contest and only got 13 points and no ribbon at all. Just goes to show how subjective the judging is.
