This is the same variety of Crab Spider I got last year. I came up to this one early one morning and it was already in this position. This guy stayed in this position for at least 45 minutes. I had time to twice go back to the truck to get more gear. I speculate it was asleep and took this as a defensive pose. About the time I was packing up to go make breakfast, it moved off the top of the flower.
