I went to the first street to the left from North Virginia after passing the baseball park north of McCarran. This street goes up into a residential area, but there is a large vacant area that overlooks the park. If you go there for future races, get there early as the street fills up fast. Both days the large white "X" marking the target for the balloonists to through a bean bag at was just above the parking lot for the baseball field. So I had ballons going right by me both days.
