This is my favorite image of the Ospreys. Apparently, they kept building nests on top of power poles and the power company would have to tear them down, but the Osprey's kept coming back and starting over with new nests. So the power company built two nesting platforms on top of telephone poles so they would have permanent nests wthout interfering with power lines. Both nests are within sight of the road through the refuge. There is a nesting pair on each nest and it looks like one has eggs in the nest. I hope to get back there to see some babies. Notice the fish with the head just barely hanging on.
