This is the guy that came walking straight toward Paula and I. Paula kept asking what we should do and I was stone silent. Either I was concentrating on getting the shots or was frozen in place or both. Anyway, he walked up pretty close, then veered off up the rocks and ended up grazing for quite some time on a flat spot above us. I wasn't able to figure out how close he got, but the minimum focusing distance on the lens is about 16 feet and I don't think he got inside that, but was probably pretty close to it.
