These were taken at Tim's backyard on Christmas day. He has these perches set up so that the background trees create a pleasing background. This particular day was overcast and snowy at times and there was snow in the trees, resulting in really highlighting the beautiful color of these birds. Unless otherwise noted, I believe these are all House Finches. Amazing to me how much color variation there is.
