Round 'n Round part 2

Another version of the "original photo" that has won so many contests to date. I'm not really sure if this one "works" like the other one. I wanted a shot with more color and a bit better focus than the "original", so I shot it when the grass was green. Unfortunately, what makes this image "better" in my opinion is also what keeps it from lacking the impact of the original. I guess what I'm saying is, though the color is snappy, and the focus is better, the picture just lacks something for me. I think part of it is the fact that the shutter speed wasn't as slow for this one... For the original, I used a shutter speed of 1/30 second, while for this one I used a shutter speed of 1/100 second. I knew that this speed would still give motion blur for the background, yet be fast enough to keep her sharp. Unfortunately, the result was that the background motion isn't as obvious. Maybe if the grass was full of yellow dandelions that would show streaks of yellow, it would work better. I think for the next try, I'll go with a shutter speed of 1/80 or 1/60. I think that will be better. I still like the color and focus of this one... I just wish the background was "more in motion". I (and I think others as well) am drawn to the original one mainly because of the lack of color and slightly blurred facial features because it seems to give the impression that it's a memory from my own childhood. It looks more surreal and dreamy. It is a photo that makes the viewer forget that a camera was involved, and makes them feel that they are the one spinning her around. What do you think?
