On my daily trip into my local town centre today I noticed that certain letters were missing from the sign of Max Spielmann, a shop that sells mainly Photo Frames,Albums and does Photo Processing.
Whether the letters had just dropped off or some vandal with a sense of humour had removed them I don't know. (Jessops staff from their shop a few doors down assured me they did'nt know anything about it and I for one certainly believe them).

I was in for a telling off, in actual fact although the camera was obviously still in taking
position I don't think she was even noticing me and was in fact checking for traffic approaching from the road behind me!!

The race ?

" Oh no,there's something wrong with the water"

Residents of parts of Lancashire on the 6/8/15 informed that they have to boil their drinking water until further notice as a parasite has entered the water supply and the water is unsafe to drink, today is the 11/8/15 and the warning is still in place although suppliers are hopeful water will be OK very shortly.
(Note the above picture is not the actual water supply mentioned but is from the local gardens where a colour( or color)has been added to a fountains supply, not sure of the reasons why).

I wonder what the story is behind this ?

The white van was parked by the jetty and as the tide was coming in there were several people watching to see what would happen, about five to ten minutes before the sea reached the jetty a person appeared,got in,and casually drove away!.........the general feeling of disappointment was almost tangible!!
