I visited Iceland two weeks in the start of July 2010. The trip started as a photographic disaster. At the absolut first photograph I took of Iceland - I was still on the ferry - my camera broke down. The mirror became loose. I figured i could glue it on again. But when I had to remove the lens the mirrow got stroke so I couldn't remove the lens. Finally after half an hour of gently fighting as not to destroy the mirror the lens came off and it was an easy task to reattach and glue the mirror to the frame and the camera worked flawless the rest of the tour.
The weather wasn't very good. Many rainy days, but still intriguing moments especially during the nights. |
