Sadsack Revisited

Wyoming Avenue, Scranton, PA

I first photographed Sadsack two years ago. He was just as intriguing today as he was
the first time I met him. A skeptic and cynic through and through, the man could not
understand why I would be interested in taking his photo. "What do you want to do with these
photos?" the ragged clown inquired. "What could be more depressing than pictures of me?"

I love this character, nevermind it's wonderful image in any respect. The most intriguing thing about him is his sadness, but I know why he's so sad... he's got personality split ! Look, he's wearing Soviet/Moslem combined star on the belly as his suit board is decorated by Third Reich iron cross ?!
