This was an unexpected. Who would think that one would find such lovely colorful
lilly pads and weeds in September in Canada. We ignorant Americans think of Canada
as our cold neighbor to the north. While visiting Niagara on the Lake, just north
of Niagara Falls, my eyes were opened to the colorful beauty of Canada.
Tehnical Note. The skies were quite overcast, and my goal was to make this photo
as colorful and as sharp as possible. My Tamron 28-75 is a good lens but with no
image stabilizer. So I rested my camera on a wall and used the self timer to get
a pretty steady photo at 1/50sec.
