Slow Shutter Mandarin Duck at Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada

Crusing slowly in the darkened pond, I rested my tamron on a wooden railing, holding
the camera as steady as I could for a 1/40 sec shutter speed shot. Normally at 75mm,
I like to shoot at 1/125sec... but with all the beautiful colors, I thought I could
get this bird well focused, if only I could have those steady nerves of steel.
