In the face of such a variety of exquisitely prepared gourmet mediterranean dishes including
borscht and herring salad, my poor wife Phyllis had no idea what hit her. "How did we find
ourselves in such a fantastic place," she querried, thinking that she must be in one of those
poshly exclusive, on the beach, restaurants for the rich and famous, that you might find at
the Riveria, or perhaps the Baltic or Caspian Sea. Nevertheless, after we were all were
seated, we finally, after much anticipation, had the chance to sample, in a large way,
all the incredible delacacies that were placed before us. But I must say, though all the
dishes were fantastically unique, the borscht, in particular, was a dish that was truly
intended for the gods.... no ambrosia ever made could equal the devine flavor of Vera
Kadymov's Borscht. Thank you Eldar and Vera for the feast.... but most of all for the
friendship and hospitality you bestowed upon Phyllis and myself.
