General Benefits of Massage Therapy
Therapeutic massage enhances the restorative qualities in all the body systems!
It relaxes tight muscles, relieves soreness, aches, and stiffness and enhances
tissue elasticity and joint flexibility. Further it deactivates trigger points
of pain, lowers the potential for further injury, increases metabolism and improves
circulation. Massage therapy also enhances skin condition by improved function
of the sebaceous and sweat glands. It improves immune system functions facilitating
better health, resistance to colds and other illness and Stimulates nerves that
supply internal organs, allowing improved blood supply. Of great importance,
it removes waste products to provide better cell nutrition and faster healing
of injuries. Therapeutic massage also has terrific psychological benefits. It brings
people into the Here and Now, away from preoccupation with thoughts and problems;
Animates the tactile senses; Loosens muscle tensing or “armoring” —the physical
counterpart to how we try to protect ourselves from emotional pain — can lead
to freeing of repressed emotions

Massage Therapy is DRUGLESS THERAPY

Some of the problems that respond well to massage therapy include: Headaches,
insomnia, digestive disorders (including constipation and spastic colon), arthritis,
carpal tunnel syndrome, sinusitis, and minor aches and pains, and rest and
relaxation for anxious individuals relying on drugs for rest.

It has been so long since I have had a deep tissue massage. Just seeing this picture makes me slightly more relaxed. I think that it is time I treat myself a little too.http://www.lindstromchiropractic.com/deepTissue.aspx

I have been thinking about going to get a massage. I have never gotten one before, so I am looking into it a little. After looking at this picture it looks super relaxing I could definitely do this and it would definitely relax me and help me feel less stressed.http://www.relaxmassagecenter.com/Spa_Services_Bellevue_WA.html

Things have been pretty crazy and hectic in my life lately. A massage would be very nice and relaxing for me. Maybe i will schedule one sometime next week and take a little break.http://www.healthatlastfv.com/Chiropractor-Services-Massage-Therapy-Fountain-Valley-CA.html

Nice photo! This looks so relaxing. I've always wanted a massage like that. I like that you mentioned that massage therapy is drugless therapy; it's a completely natural and healthy way to help yourself out. I've been thinking about taking my husband and getting a massage at the same time as him. http://www.reflexionspa.com/services

Wow, that really looks like it would feel so amazing. I don't know what it is, but getting the deep tissue of the back of my legs massaged feels the best. It's been a while since I've gotten a treatment like this, but I think that it would feel so great.http://www.relaxmassagecenter.com/Spa_Services_Bellevue_WA.html

Michael, you might re-consider posting messages with description of miraculous effects of massage, as most folks here on Pbase, unlike yourself, simply cannot afford it... So my point is that seeing this image creates quite opposite and very much negative emotions which , certainly, don't benefit well being of your peers...

Wow...I could use one of those!
