General Benefits of Massage Therapy
Therapeutic massage enhances the restorative qualities in all the body systems!
It relaxes tight muscles, relieves soreness, aches, and stiffness and enhances
tissue elasticity and joint flexibility. Further it deactivates trigger points
of pain, lowers the potential for further injury, increases metabolism and improves
circulation. Massage therapy also enhances skin condition by improved function
of the sebaceous and sweat glands. It improves immune system functions facilitating
better health, resistance to colds and other illness and Stimulates nerves that
supply internal organs, allowing improved blood supply. Of great importance,
it removes waste products to provide better cell nutrition and faster healing
of injuries. Therapeutic massage also has terrific psychological benefits. It brings
people into the Here and Now, away from preoccupation with thoughts and problems;
Animates the tactile senses; Loosens muscle tensing or “armoring” —the physical
counterpart to how we try to protect ourselves from emotional pain — can lead
to freeing of repressed emotions

Massage Therapy is DRUGLESS THERAPY

Some of the problems that respond well to massage therapy include: Headaches,
insomnia, digestive disorders (including constipation and spastic colon), arthritis,
carpal tunnel syndrome, sinusitis, and minor aches and pains, and rest and
relaxation for anxious individuals relying on drugs for rest.

You guys are right, this looks like it would feel so amazing. I spend 8 hours a day on my feet at work. I could really use some work on my feet. I wear pretty comfortable shoes, but my feet just get so tired after a while.http://www.beverlymassagetherapy.com/reiki

A massage sounds like it would be so nice right now for me. The last couple weeks have been so stressful with all that we have had going on. Maybe I should just take a day or so to give my self some time to relax.http://www.studio7ss.com/#!massage/cy5g

I agree with you Talmage, getting a massage feels really amazing. I just recently realized how therapeutic it can be for your body. Each section of your foot controls so many other parts of your body, and can relieve so much pain and aching. I have quite the headache right now, so I think that I'm due for a massage.http://www.massageworld.com.au/content/therapeutic-massage

I don't think that there is anything more relaxing than getting a massage. Having a professional who really knows what he's doing do it makes it so beneficial to your whole body. People don't realize how much nervous energy can be released from your body by getting a foot massage.http://www.montcochiro.com/about_us/Dr_Allen_Conrad_BS_DC_CSCS.htm

It could be a very interestig image IMO. Some kind of abstract, but frankly the text below ruined it for me.
