The Old Pulling the Lady Out of the Box by the Hair Trick:)

Montage Mountain Ski Resort Lodge, Montage, PA

This is more than just a sexy magic stunt. It is an exercise, using Photoshop cs,
in increasing shallow dof. 1) duplicated orginal layer. 2) in top layer, extracted
central focus with bezier curve tools and applied matte defringe. 4) still in top
layer, applied slight shadow / highlight tool 5) in bottom layer used healing tools
and blur tool to blend edges of central focus with background 6) used crosshatch
filter and gaussian blur on entire background to create some bokeh. 7) flattened
image. 8) applied some minor hue / saturation and brightness contrast. 9) attached
frame. 10) Voila! C'est fini!

Hehehe, give the guy a smack in the face for pulling the ladies hair. A well accomplished photoshop exercise.

Everything is cool here except for... Can you ask this rude fella to pull this lady out by underarms next time , to say the least ? Otherwise , in spite of miraculous post-processing technique, it all looks like horror movie !

I was of course pulling your leg Michael. The technique used, sounded like it took you forever!

This has to be the best shot on PAD today! I love the flaming reds - teh composition is so dramatic and compelling. The negative space lends perfectly to the subjects. Bravo. Gets my vote!

Nice work , would like to see the before shot, sounds like it needed a lot of work!

Hi Dan. Are you referring to the trick or the post-processing? :)

Well! Seems simple enough. ;-)
