Photographed through the glass showcase at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas,
the photographer was very careful, to get the only proper angle available, not using a flash,
to keep reflections and glare to a minimum, saturating the colors the maximum and exposure as
cool as a cucumber. The mannequin, pictured here, is wearing an outfit, make-up and hair style
that is considered to be the height of high fashion. Fashionable and tres chique.

masque; costume for such a party or ball; A disguise or false outward show; a pretense: a
masquerade of humility; An involved scheme; a charade. Examples: To wear a mask or disguise,
as at a masquerade: She masqueraded as a shepherd; To go about as if in disguise; have or put
on a deceptive appearance: The stowaway masqueraded as a crew member.
