Michelle I love your caddis pictures! I was wondering if the variety in the tiny caddis house pic is found anywhere other than california?

Loved all the photos -- especially the moth pics. It was nice stumbling upon it.

Hello Michelle, I recieved your site address from my Aunt Shirley(your friend) She told my mom and I about it and I had to check it out. Its hard to find the right words...but the photos are stunning!!!! My aunt said you took some pictures of my gramma Ruth also. Can't wait to see those. You have a real talent here. I especially liked the Osprey!!
Thanks

I really enjoyed browsing your galleries. Especially the beautiful rainbows you have caught at Manzanita and the Hamilton Branch. I do photography for Lassen Volcanic National Park and have a gallery in the Loomis Museum that you can check out next time you are in the park. In fact, if you would like to put together some prints of things you have done inside the park, I might be able to hang them in the gallery for a time this summer or next. Contact me if you are interested. I think a gallery with trout, entymology emphasis might be very interesting! Check out my pbase gallery if you get the chance.

Fabulous site.

Hi Michelle. Great photos. For fifteen years I was a commercial fly tier here in Massachusettes. That was when I could actually see a #16 Mustad and my skin didn't catch on the silk thread.
For photography I like dragonflies. However, your photos bring back fond memories of the freestone streams around here and the may and caddis flies that I used to copy.
Excellent work. Sounds like you are located in the Northwest?
Are you selling your photos? I'm into abstract digital art photography. Blowing them up to 16X24 and trying to sell them. Into several juried shows. Want to set up a commercial website like yours to sell my stuff.
I'm shooting with a D70s and love it.
Thanks for sharing.

You really know your aquatic insects:-) Please consider contacting me ASAP about submitting images for a new field guide to North American insects I am writing. We could certainly use your talents, and you have some species we really need. Thank you, keep up the great work. Eric Eaton, bugeric@webtv.net

Hi Silent Reader. Thank you! I've read lots of your posts... I LOVE my straw house. It's cozy; cool in summer without A/C, and easily heated in winter...also very cheap and fun to build and best of all, not like anyone else's!

Just wandered on to your photo gallery through the NCFF Board. I'm Silent Reader.

I noticed you have a straw bale house! Straw bale housing was the subject of an affordable housing article in a Bay Area magazine a few years back. Tried to get a non-profit community development corporation I volunteered for to consider the concept. Needless to say, it doesn't work well in an area with scarce open land. There are a few straw bale houses in Berkeley, though.

How do you like your house?

Hi Michelle -

I just noticed your photo gallery after you posted the
fishing pictures on www.ncffb.org

You have quite an eye - great photos! I'm also a photography
buff. I take a lot of photos for the web and while my digital
camera isn't the best (Canon PowerShot A50) it takes decent
pictures. Although the format isn't as nice as this photo
gallery, you can view some of them here:
Some of the better photos can be found at:http://www.flyfishnorcal.net/jpg/Trinity
and here:http://www.flyfishnorcal.net/jpg/LowerMcCloud

Hope you enjoy the message board and look forward to your posts!

Dear friend photograph,
I like your idea with tricks for Photoshop, Pershaps you can add a 3rd picture where you explain how do you have retouching.
If you want, you can also see my pictures (taken with Sony Cybershoot F505v and F707) at
