My family and I spent five amazing days in the NYC in August. We really enjoyed the City, architecture,
atmosphere, museums, parks. All my impressions from this I've posted in the gallery "New York Hop-on Hop-of
here https://pbase.com/michaelsv/new_york
I really liked these shots made during our sightseeing tours around the city and
later while we were walking
its streets. But being addicted to the candid street photography I spent a lot of time in New York "shooting"
people. My primary intention was to avoid tourists and try to focus on the New Yorkers. And amazingly I've realized
that this City is all about people living their day to day lives there. I can't say it was easy to make these shots.
I did not have long or even medium size zoom, so all shot were taken with Canon EFS 17-85mm f/4 IS lens.
That means that maximum distance to the subject in many cases was less than 3-4 feet.
Please let me know if you liked the gallery and I appreciate any critique.
