After decades of hearing about Zion NP, we finally made it. It was a five-day trip to visit Zion, Antelope Canyon and Bryce NP. We flew into Las Vegas and drove two hours to Hurricane for our Air B&B lodging. Zion park is about 30 minutes drive from Hurricane. Given the time we had, we hiked the two most popular trails in Zion:
- Angels Landing: 5.4 miles round trip, 1488 feet elevation gain, strenuous rating, 3 -4 hours
- The Narrows via Riverside Walk: 9.4 miles round trip, 334 feet elevation gain, eight hours, strenuous rating. We hiked for three hours in the rushing 65-degree river before we turned around.
