At the spur of the moment, we decided to check out the Glacier Point trail in Yosemite. The trail is 9.2 miles round trip with a 3000' gain in elevation. The trail incline is approximately 20 - 30 degree. It's also the first time in a long while that we've been to the park in the summer. The weather was very pleasant. The trail was very shady most of the time in the morning. We started out at 8:40AM and reached the summit (7412') at 12:20PM. We stayed at the top for a couple of hours and hiked down at 2PM. The return trip was effortless and it took us two and half hours which included twenty minutes long in breaks...
