We left Venice on Day 5 by bus to the first country, Slovenia (population 2.0M), which was part of the Yugoslavia Union up to 1991 when the Union was broken up. The Union consisted of six countries which are Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia (population 4.3M), Macedonia and Montenegro. Our two-night stay in Ljubljana allowed us to explore the small, quiet city, the charming and serene Lake Bled and the horse-performing show at Lipica. One will quickly notice that Slovanian words contains more consonants then vowels. Speaking its language can be a mouthful. Try to say out loud the name of this town, if you don't believe me...
