We spent four days in NY playing tourist then embarked on the NCL for a 6-nite cruise exploring the northeastern coastal New England towns. We lucked out by missing Hurricane Kyle which preceded us by a day or two. The weather was quite decent with light rain and occasional sun and blue sky thru out the trip. Many thanks to KDMing for being our tour guide and dragged us all over mid-town (Broadway, Time Square) and Lower Manhattan including the financial district, Little Italy, Chinatown (with a good dinner to re-energize) and last but not least, the after-dinner stroll on the infamous Brooklyn Bridge.
