We had a wonderful week-long trip in the suburb of Montreal. The autumn foliage in this northeastern country was at its peak. We lucked out with being there at the right time for the so-called Festival of Color celebrating the change of season and with perfect weather for the whole week except for the last day when the rain showed up. Witnessing for the first time with my own eyes the northern light (aka aurora borealis) phenomenon at 2AM by the lake was the highlight.
