On the way to Croatia, we stopped by Lipica for a horse-performing show. One interesting fact about these horses is that they were born black and grow up white!!! Quite frankly, the show is boring most of the time. However, the grand finale is to see the horses galloping freely back to the stable at the end (page 5 of the gallery). Btw, horse ownership cost can be up to $10K a year per horse. No kidding!!!
