It has been almost five years since we last visited the land of the rising sun and Sakuras. We came back again for the annual spring cherry blossoms festival which was at its peak in late March and lasted through mid-April. We spent three weeks chasing after the Sakuras at various destinations: Kyoto, Kinosaki-Onsen, Yoshino National Park, Nara, and Osaka. We stayed in Tokyo for four nights at a comfortable Airbnb. The weather was ideal with rain for a few days thru out the entire trip. The exchange rate was 130 Yen to a US dollar.
