Our first trek of the new year by hiking up the Santa Cruz mountains to visit our friends, Wayne and Fun-Lin. The hike is about an hour long on the winding and steep roads and 1000 feet in elevation leading to the summit. It was very misty which made the scenery even more worthwhile. To reward us for the nice workout, the host and hostess treated us with an excellent dinner of venison sausage as apertizer and crab... Thank you, Wayne and Fong-Lin for such a nice treat.
