From Nikko, we moved on to Hakone, 239Km (three-hour express train ride) heading south beyond Tokyo, Yokohama, and near Odawara. We stayed there for another three nites at Green Plaza Gora Hotel. Highlights were: Gondola (or ropeway) ride to Owakudani Volcano (used to have black egg factory), ropeway to Togendai, cruising on lake Ashinoko to MotoHakone to visit Haoke shrine and tori. Hotel stay includes full breakfast and dinner (10-course). Alcohol beverages are not included. Onsen is on-site. On day three, half of the group split up to visit Gotemba and Mt. Fuji for the whole day.
