The ocean-front park locates off of Hwy 1 south of Carmel, CA, about 10-15 minute drive. It's a steep trail, 1800 feet elevation, approximately six miles round-trip. From the trailhead, hikers can choose either the canyon path or the ocean-side path. Either path is equally steep. The ocean-facing path is more panoramic.
