A three-day weekend brought us together for another better yet excursion as our annual tradition. Fort Bragg in the Mendocino county is one of the many small seaside towns hanging off the cliff along the coastal Highway 1 in Northern California, about four hours drive from the Bay Area urban cities. We lucked out with beautiful sunny weather and lush vegetation resulted from a very good rain season which rescued the state from a severe five-year drought.
