A ten-day trip to the Canadian Rockies for the foliage season and visiting relatives and to Montreal to see college classmates from the 70s'. Weather could not be any better at both destinations. A snow storm delivered a blanket of snow in Banff National Park and Canmore and enhanced the landscape significantly. We stayed at an Air B&B in Canmore which is about 15-minute drive to the entrance of Banff National Park. The hot spring bath in Banff is one of the highlights of the trip. The spring hot water is 43-degree Celsius and the air temperature was in the low single-digit... At Lake Louise, Banff, we hiked a five-mile round trip up to Lake Agnes where one can find a tea-house for a simple lunch.
