My second trip back to my hometown two years in a row. This time was to attend my high school reunion and also to celebrate my school 70th anniversary from its inception (1955 - 2025). Regrettably, it was closed down in 1978. Our previous reunion was in 2009, San Jose, California. It was so nice to see so many familiar faces again, especially those I have not seen since I was a teenager, more than half of a century ago. Time flies but we are forever young looking at the photos again and again, no?
After a few days stay in Da Nang, we flew to the north of Vietnam to visit the Northeastern and Northwestern regions for three weeks. It was a very nice road trip to see this part of Vietnam which was something we knew very little from high school, studying geography back then.
