We last hiked this Big Basin Redwoods park in August 2004. It was not as pretty as this time. One month of summer sure makes a big difference. This time, we hiked the same route starting with the Skyline To the Sea Trail leading us to the Berry Creek Falls then onto the Silver Falls and Golden Falls Cascades (aka Copper Falls in 2004). From there, we took the Sunset Trail back. The round trip distance is ten miles. Most of the trail is shady and still pleasant in July. The Sunset trail has some brief exposure to the sun.
