Mark, c'est un régal de se promener dans New-york à travers tes photos. Tes choix sont subtils et ton "regard" sur cette ville est réaliste et chaleureux par certains cotés.
Bravo...

As a native New Yorker, I understand exactly what kind of emotion is in your pictures. There is a grace in the shapes of the city and the way light falls on them. One is not usually consciously aware of it, but it forms the emotional backdrop of one's daily life and gradually one falls in love with it. The shapes reflect the human activity of many people over many decades and the light that falls on it is the effect of time passing. A visitor sees the cumulative effect, but does not yet see the subtleties that only reveal themselves after many years. Your photos, Mark, have the inner quality of someone who instinctively understands the subtleties of New York, and your subtle control of shading, and sometimes, form create a very pleasing music.
This composition certainly is a cold one, I agree!
:)
Not intentional per se although I am not always in search of "warmth" or romanticism.

Fantastic composition.
I enjoy looking at all your galleries. Subtle use of saturation and original compositions keep me coming back. Maybe sometimes your style is a little bit too cold, meaning that I feel no emotion looking at the picture. Forgive me if this is your intended style, just a thought. Keep up the good work! Olivier J.
