The SIPS outing to the Land Between the Lakes in western Kentucky was really nice. It was a beautiful sunny day - not quite ideal for photography, but one must make the best of what is available. Thank you, Sam Todd, for being our own personal guide, and for showing us things that the average tourist in the area does not get to see. We were treated to some beautiful scenery, brilliant color, close-up views of some interesting wildlife, and some very good company. As daylight came to a close the sun's glow really complimented the fall colors. I hope to return to this area sometime in the future.
