Here's Lucy, my dog. In January, 2005 the monthly SIPS contest had to be a photo of indoor photography. I decided to experiment with some photos of Lucy. I placed my new Fugifilm S9000 on the floor and used ambient light. Light was coming in through the window from the back and to my left. To my right was an incandescent lamp. It made an interesting blend. Lucy seemed to pose perfectly for the shot. This shot won first place in this SIPS monthly contest. I also entered this shot in the 2005 hospital photo contest where I work and won 1st place in the animal/pet catagory.
