We took a trip to the Netherlands and Italy to visit three good friends in the Netherlands and see a few sites before flying on to Italy for a north to south partial tour. We spent time in Amsterdam and Utrecht in the Netherlands. We flew to Venice, and then took trains to Florence, Lucca (day trips to the Cinque Terre and Pisa), then to Sorrento (south of Naples) where we hung out and visited Pompeii, and finally to Rome where we visited for a bit (unfortunately we both had colds for our few days there) and then home.
