Day 365
Today marks the end of the year for my photo a day project. It has been something I have enjoyed greatly and want to continue in the future. For today I searched for an appropriate shot to finish out the year. I roamed through the house and through my day looking for something that would wrap up the year. As the night grew shorter I was running out of time and ideas. Then Jessie said something about letting the fire go out, and I knew I had my shot. The fire might have burned down leaving only coals, but there was still a good amount of warmth coming off of it. Despite seeming like it was done I know that just a couple more logs and a little prodding and the flames would rise again. An appropriate end to my day, my Christmas vacation, and to this year of photos.
