Day 271
This is the heavy weight for distance event in the highland games I went to last weekend. This gentleman is in the A class which means he is in the top of the amateur gamers. That weight is 56 pounds and he only has the length of the orange box on the ground to the trig to move in. The gamers normally do a double spin before releasing the weight. I have no idea what he got on this particular throw but his best throw of the day was a little over 30 ft. They can throw it 40+ feet sometimes. Seriously...they are hurling a 56 pound cannon ball on a chain upwards of 40 feet. These guys are no joke.
