Day 225
This is my engagement ring (which I actually got after we were married). It is a marquis cut sapphire with two infinity knots. Our friend David Heffley made our wedding rings and the engagement ring. He in fact made the wedding rings for a lot of our friends. He does beautiful work. I adore my ring. I have lost enough weight that I can not wear it at all. Eventually I will get it sized down, but I am waiting until I am sure I am done losing weight. I chose the sapphire because I actually don't like diamonds. Also sapphires were the original stone for engagements until the early part of last century.
