My died mother Marija was Marija Hoèevar married with Vid Zupanèiè also died. I don't know exactly but I think this foto is not from the side where I was born (village Slepek). As a disabled i'm all the time from my home (first child hospital, second Institution for training disabled, third Institution for eldery as a combination for partial independent living as disabled). As a child I heard some relations went to USA or Canada and I would really prefer if I will find some relations somewhere fare away from my home cause internet leave uncredible contacts and informations. I was borm 24 th of september 1964, I have one brother (Vid), 3 sisters (Mari, Vida, Lojzka) all married and lived at their own place. Even if I had not opportunity to live at my home my heart and sould remeber manny nice happening as a child to stay at home when I had holidays. Mokronog and places around in romantic natural farmers land, people are kind and simple honnest, Dolenjska will stay in my heart and I hope when I will die they will put me near my died father and mother, no matter of everything what I had crossed and will cross throuh my life, I feel I belong there.

Lovely photo of the place I used to visit so many times in my childhood. This photo almost seem to be taken from my grand mother`s used-to-be house. My grand mother came from Hocevar family, too. She, along with her husband, my grandfather, is buuried on the graveyard in Mokronog. I live in Serbia but my heart longs to visit this place again although I don`t have a place to stay in now. Give us some more photos of this lovely small place. Thanks!

Yay finally, a picture photo of Mokronog ((-:: My grampa Janez or John Hocevar or Hotschewar or Hochevar or Hochewar.. was born there in 1875 I think it was.. His family moved to Austria perhaps near Graz or Koflach Koeflach in the late 1800's.. He had two or three brothers whose names I don't even know.. His parents were Jozef Hocevar and Marija Hocevar.. He met and married Agnes Mattausch of Koflach Koeflach.. They had a son Agathon in the very early 1900's.. They came to America about 1905 and eventually ended up in Cleveland, Ohio, where many Slovenians came to live.. They had daughters Anna and Jennie, but older brother Agathon died fairly young.. It's neat, having tiny Slovenia as an independent country..!! More pictures of Mokronog would be very welcome..!! Thanks..!!
