Micheldever Station is the name of the village, not the station. Although it is. When the line was built in the 19th century, the local landowner, being a non-believer in this new fangled idea, refused to have the line cross his land, so the station for the village of Micheldever was simply built as near to the village as possible. Over time, a community sprang up around the station, and *that* village became known as 'Michelever Station', if you see what I mean.
