Photos taken one evening while walking around downtown Ottawa, Ontario, the capital of Canada. This was a test of shooting ISO 800 at handheld speeds made possible by my Minolta A2's anti-shake function. The files while all sharp were also quite noisy, of course, but not beyond usability which once again goes to prove the old adage - a bad photo is better than no photo. However, shooting handheld at ISO 800 is certainly no substitute for longer exposures shot from a tripod. These files, since shot primarily as a test, have not been meticulously post-processed, therefore color balance varies widely between them and noise reduction run on only a handful of them. I plan to go back another time with a tripod and shoot these properly.
