For this exercise I want to kill some of the contrast in center of the tulip petals, so I pulled the
point down that I previously located. This darkened a broader range of tones than I wanted, so I
added a couple more points near it and adjusted them to narrow the effected range until I got the
desired result.

This is a very powerful operation.
