I remember walking down this street for the first time,a westerner's first visit to our nations capital.The first thing I thought of was an old TV ad from my youth...Dr. Lotta Hitschmanova calling for aid for her Unitarian Service Committee,in that strange dialect of her's and forever burning into my memory "please send your donations to 56 Sparks Street,Ottawa 4,Ontario. So I had to see if there really was a 56 Sparks Street!
